Operation

Running Instruction

An EFB-2 or ERB-2 Check Valve is run into the hole pinned to an EC-1 Running Tool to the desired profile, where downward jarring will shear the pins holding it to the running tool to allow removal of the EC-1 while leaving the Check Valve in place.  It can be run into fluid, as the ball will be unseated while going downward.

Pulling Instructions

Run an ERB Pulling Tool downhole onto the EFB-2 or ERB-2 Check Valve, where it will latch over and onto the external fish neck.  Pulling upward will lift the fish neck, shearing the brass set screws, allowing fluid to bypass through the inside, allowing retrieval of the Check Valve.
