The Evolution Model SLRN Selective Landing Nipple is used as a receptacle for a variety of flow control devices. It has a seal bore and integral locking profile.
The Model SLRN is installed primarily in heavy weight tubing. Standard material is alloy steel heat treated to NACE specifications for sour service. Many API and premium threads can be machined on the nipple in a box up and pin down configuration.
The reduced diameter at a bottom no-go shoulder provides a means to properly locate the appropriate Flow Control device at the lower end of the SLRN Nipple, preventing downward travel.
